The Orbitalis Table is composed of a series of globular spheres attracted together. Geometric, algorithmic modeling methods afford a great number of parametric design possibilities based on patterns found in nature. In the case of this piece, the pattern is gravity itself - each sphere representing an artistic representation of peering into a 4th spatial dimension.
Made up of 80 sections of Baltic Birch Plywood, this parametric table comes in two sizes – Classic and Mini. An inner system of steel rod support ensures stability for both table sizes. The Orbitalis Table is finished with a commercial grade satin interior finish and is available in many different colors - both stained wood and solid paints.
